portraiture. A separate identity because of the sometimes sensitive nature of
the photography.
Here you can dress up or undress and be the model you always thought you were or

the first and only time like this in front of a professional camera! The photos
from your session presented on a disc and a medium of your choosing, DVD,
printed photos, enlargements, canvas art, and printed albums to name but a few.
Some people are naturally apprehensive or shy when considering the exposure
necessary to capture intimate, creative or erotic photo art of themselves,
others are only too happy to role play and have fun doing so. Fantasy
Photography is here to provide a safe, fun environment for you to enjoy, not

ABOUT YOU
Fantasy Photography inclusive of but not restricted to the clothing, style,
photo session and ultimately the final print is about you.
We are not looking to shoot professional models, we want to connect with
and capture the you most people may never see. You may choose to never show
the end result because it is about you, for you. You may want those special
shots for a special someone else. The photos themselves may be to highlight
or capture some special attributes or simply to lend an air of romance or
intrigue to your portraits. Perhaps you want them just plain sexy!
We aim to have a relaxed and comfortable environment whether here in my
studio or on a location shoot so you can be at ease and allow yourself the
time during your session to unwind and be the aspiring model or to fulfil
your fantasy shoot. I will work with you and offer guidance and direction
to accomplish the result we are both after.
We appreciate most woman are quite adept at doing their own hair and makeup
and as I generally work alone to afford you total privacy this passes the
cost savings onto you. Having said that you can of course arrange to visit
your own stylist/s before attending your photo shoot. Some clients arrange
as much on a special occasion i.e. have their hair and makeup done on a
Birthday, Anniversary, Engagement and then follow up their mini make over
with a photo session.
We can even arrange a gift certificate for someone's hair/makeup and/or
photography. Or we can arrange for a stylist to meet you here if that is
what you'd rather. The charge additional of course. My partner and PA often
featured on this site can also offer assistance or company during your
shoot if you would rather.
When you have booked and are ready for your photo shoot you need only bring
any clothing you require (see what to wear section), a notion of what is to
take place from our initial online consult, some confidence in yourself and
some excited anticipation.
As per legal requirements with the nature of this photography we ask you be
at least eighteen years of age at the time of your photo session.

We can discuss your requirements online
initially or by phone if you prefer and then make a booking to suit. Unless
you particularly want a personal meeting and consultation prior to your
booking we will sit together when you arrive and discuss the shoot, look at
further sample photography, the clothing options and outline your photo
session before commencing. Allow at least 2 - 2 1/2 hours for your session.
It may take longer dependant on your requirements or whether you have a
makeup artist needed here but we will discuss this initially.
As mentioned in the about you section above you will need to do or arrange
your own hair and makeup before arriving unless pre-arranged with me
otherwise. Once we have finished your photo session I will process your
photos and contact you when they are ready to pick up or courier, which is
normally within two to three weeks. A booking fee or deposit is not
required but full payment in relation to your package at the session or by
direct debit before your pick up is expected.
If for some reason you are unable to attend a booking please advise us at
your earliest convenience so we can free up the time.

The clothing you wear or ultimately bring with
you will be relevant to the style of shoot or photos you are wanting.
I would imagine if you are considering an undertaking such as boudoir or
erotic photography you would already have some notion as to what you would
like to see in your personal portraiture. If it is only an idea at this
stage and you are not sure what it is you want I suggest in the first
instance you might search via the internet for sample photography to get
some inspiration. I do have however sample material, both my own and
sourced that you are welcome to view when you arrive for your booking.
I do also have in my studio a range of costumes at your disposal should
they fit and be of interest in achieving your desired look. The rest of the
look will be in the nature of the pose and lighting.
You will naturally want to be feeling comfortable (as possible) and at your
best so bring some clothing that does just that, makes you feel
comfortable, sexy, at ease. I suggest you at the least bring a couple of
sets of matching lingerie, white and a bright colour or chocolate. Other
lingerie if you have it, like bustier, camisole. Your denim jeans, heels, a
top or two and perhaps a partners favourite shirt, white business or plaid.
Merely a list of suggestions.
It is assumed you will bring a range of your own lingerie, stockings etc to
afford you comfort but below is a list of costumes/outfits or ideas you
might like to consider if it is a Fantasy style shoot you are after. Bear
in mind they are generally a size 8-10.

We use state of the art digital cameras for the
added advantage they offer. These advantages and benefits are reflected in
our affordable photography prices. Rest assured if you want printed photos
the digital files these professional digital cameras have produce quality
images every bit the equivalent of traditional film photos, if you only
want the files for computer or TV viewing that is fine too. The options
don't stop there either, with the digital image files we can format and
master a printed Story Book Album, design and print your photo art on
canvas or print on a number of mediums.

How
did you get into this photography?
Not unlike my wedding photography business which was conceived from an
interest, turned hobby, turned small business this Fantasy Photography or
intimate portraiture has been born of a similar fashion. My beautiful model
wife kindly giving up her time for my creativity and learning curve and
then a few clients later the idea was put into motion. Always growing and
every client a challenge and pleasure, like the weddings. I appreciate an
attractive human body and the personality that makes up you and in kind
being able to provide photographic memorabilia for you. I aim to extend my

Can I bring someone with me?
Yes. While it is only a small office/studio and I generally work alone to
afford you total privacy and to avoid distractions and suggest you bear
these in mind yourself some clients may be more comfortable with a partner
or friend close by. It needs to be discussed at the time of booking or
pre-arranged. You may well arrange a partner or friend to be a part of the
shoot, concessions can be made if there are two at the one sitting. My own
partner can generally make herself available for assistance or company if
you let me know in advance.

How is Fantasy Photography more affordable?
Fantasy Photography has come about in part because of a need for
quality and affordability in the same package. Omitting some third parties
and the need for assistance I can keep expenses to a minimum. Because I use
digital technology therefore cutting some other underlying expenses and
have a keen interest in photography with you in mind also I aim to keep the
price structure reasonable.

How
long will it take to get my photos?
Dependent on your requirements you should have your photo files and package
as per your booking within two-three weeks. Printed Albums will naturally
take longer, but we estimate around 3-4 weeks once you have sanctioned the
draft layout.
Does Fantasy Photography work outside the studio?
While I have a small comfortable home office which doubles as a studio and
a garden setting to utilise there is the option to photograph elsewhere.
Perhaps you are wanting beach or bush shots, a particular landscape, or
perhaps the privacy of your hotel accommodation. We can discuss your
requirements in the initial stages of our consultation.

How much
notice is needed to book?
Bookings are taken as and when available while I have
a number of roles to fill. It is relevant to the style of photos you want as to the
lighting requirements, these will be discussed in the initial stages of
contact. It is entirely up to you once you have made contact and are
satisfied with the discussions as to when you book. You may want to tie
your booking in with your tan or fitness, perhaps a birthday or celebration
if they are to be gifts.
Does Fantasy Photography process it's own photos?
As an added piece of mind I do provide a print service in my own office up
to enlargements of A4 size in an effort to keep your photographs even more
private if need be, and cutting down on print costs. I have and do however
outsource to professional printers for some work and their integrity and
confidentiality is paramount too.

How private is
your studio?
My small but comfortable office/studio is very private. Although based at
my home address we are separate from the living area and we will not be
disturbed. I generally work one on one with the client to afford you
privacy, cut costs and avoid distractions. See can I bring someone if you'd
rather not be alone.
Do we get to
keep the photos?
While you hold the trade mark over your paid photography and they cannot be
used for commercial gain by the photographer without your permission or a
release form the photographer has the copyright, meaning you are not in a
position to release them legally for publication or commercial use without
his/her permission. A photographer does not have to supply any negatives or
photo files but as part of our service we provide you with the original
digital files for the purposes of viewing and personal reprints. They are
stored to a disc where they are the equivalent of a negative. They need
only be presented at a local processor for printing.
Fantasy Photography can arrange to print your enlargements to ensure your
privacy if you wish. If you utilize a processor elsewhere remember they are
not all created equal so the colour prints may differ from your screen
view.

How long will Fantasy Photography take at my photo
session?
This is somewhat dependant on your requirements but a normal photo shoot
will last anywhere between 2 - 3hrs. If you have time restraints you will
need to inform me before we commence so we can do justice to the time
available.

Does Fantasy Photography do anything with my photo
files?
This again is relevant to our arrangements. If you want your photos to
remain strictly private that is fine otherwise during the consultation
stage we will discuss the merits of using some of the shots for my own
studio portfolio or promotional work and print. If you are having a free or
discounted session with us it is highly likely part and parcel of the
arrangement is to utilize the photography in the course of our business.

Do I have to bring my own clothes or costumes?
It is recommended you bring what ever clothing you feel comfortable in and
would like to utilize in a photo shoot. I would suggest at the least jeans
and a white shirt or the like plus your lingerie, red a good start. It is
relevant to the style of photography you are wanting naturally. We do have
some outfits and costumes available to use but these of course are subject
to being appropriate and fitting.

Who will do
my hair and make up?
As we mentioned on the website we have kept the costs and your prices to a
minimum by omitting stylists and extra assistance. If you would rather
someone prepare your hair and makeup I would suggest in the first instance
you visit your own personal stylist/s just ahead of your appointment with
me. Or during our initial consultation I can arrange a stylist at your
expense to meet you here.

Do I have to pose
nude?
Certainly not. It is merely an option for some to pose semi nude or nude
and is entirely up to the client. Your experience should be creative and
fun and we can adlib if you choose to do so. You are given privacy to
change during the course of the shoot and I will work with you to help ease
you in to what may or may not be outside your comfort zone, it is expected
some may well be a little apprehensive or shy. As a photographer I have
seen many a client in many a dressed or undressed state and admire your
willingness to be creative, you need only relax so the photos can be at
there best.

Your total cost for a
Fantasy Photography session will be relevant to your requirements and the
products fashioned from the shoot.
But to start, an in studio personal Fantasy shoot here at my home based
office/studio inclusive of our time; (allow 2-2 1/2 hours incorporating the pre
shoot discussion and several costume changes) plus the post processing (at least
20 photos) and delivery or presentation of your photography on disc.
